Wine Review: This cloudy and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with shy black currant bouquet with hints of leather, black plum, pencil lead, walnuts, and mushrooms. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is black currant and mocha blend with notes of oak and blackberry. We also picked up some hints of cinnamon tea and anise. The finish is dry, and its sticky tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with beef stroganoff or veal osso buco. Winemaker Notes: The 2018 Brothers is a deeply rich wine with complex flavors of dark berries and cassis. The wine is bursting with blackberry, plum and wonderful chocolate and mocha notes followed by a round and seductive mid-palate and a long lingering finish.
